At the heart of this pack are two captures we spent months refining and pressure testing in real world environments with multiple guitars, live mixes, real pedalboards, and countless Quad Cortex revisions to make sure they respond and feel like actual amps not just good recordings of amps.

Included captures:

·       Morgan SW22

·       90’s JMI

Included drives:

·       Protein V3

·       JHS SuperBolt

·       Kilt V2

The scenes follow the standard Joe’s Approach workflow so everything feels familiar and easy to navigate during service:

Scenes:

·       Clean

·       Pushed

·       Lead

·       Solo

·       Tremolo

·       Chorus

·       Vibrato

·       Swell

The JMI was captured through an incredibly rare set of 100-watt Alnico speakers that add this beautiful depth and harmonic character that is hard to describe until you play it. The Morgan SW22 was captured through our Matchless cabinet loaded with a G12M 65, which gives it a focused and balanced response that sits incredibly well in a mix. Both captures were done with a Shure KSM32.

This pack was built especially with the EG1 player in mind. Compared to some of our more ambient and wider EG2 style patches, this one is more focused, clear, and direct while still feeling big and inspiring to play. It layers extremely well with EG2 based rigs in a multi guitar setup, but also sounds fantastic as a standalone guitar patch.

One of the biggest goals with this release was flexibility. These presets should work well with almost any guitar. Don’t be afraid to tweak the amp gain to taste or make small adjustments for your setup. Quad Cortex V2 responds incredibly well to that kind of fine tuning, and these captures were designed with that in mind.

More than anything, this pack was created to feel musical, dynamic, and inspiring every time you plug in.
